The Bahamas

The Primary Schools on the Island of Eleuthera open their doors and allow us to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ during the school hours. For the past several years our US High School students have presented the Gospel message in the form of plays, skits, songs and games. The US students also volunteer the entire day assisting the teachers and making physical improvemnts to the classrom and campus.
United Servants Abroad has supported The Men of Faith on the Island of Eleuthera. These Christian men from several churches work in unison to serve the neeeds of their community. Our mission teams from the US have worked along side The Men of Faith in the Bahamas. They have also served with them on the mission fields of Peru, Paraguay and Cuba.
Youth ministries abound on Eleuthera. The schools have very limited extra curricular activites. Organized sports and clubs are also limited. Many of the youth don't swim and many have never fished. Our mission teams engage the youth in these activities and share the Good News of Jesus Christ with them as they associate together. The youth love it when they are invited to come and share a barbecue hamburger, hot dog cook out with our mission teams.

Easy and fun

It is so easy to do ministry in The Bahamas. It is only a short plane ride from the states. Young or old, there is a place to minister and serve. The native language is English so everyone can communicate with one another and relationships are soon established. United Servants Abroad maintains our own housing for our mission teams. The Jordan Stone Mission House is located on two acres right on the water on the island of Eleuthera. The house can accommodate 21 people, it is air-condiioned with plenty of bathroom facilities. There are lots of water sports and beaches to choose from for your leisure time.
